If you want to learn more, please visit our website.
AMI offers a comprehensive range of high-temperature aluminized textiles that ensure safety and high performance in intense heat environments. For applications requiring flexibility, such as safety clothing or radiant heat situations, Aluminized Film-Backed fabrics are highly recommended. Foil-Backed textiles, on the other hand, are ideal for foundry curtains, expansion joints, and mechanical insulation covers, as the foil layer not only protects against radiant heat but also resists oil and moisture. Aluminized Film Textiles
AMI’s metalized film textiles are designed for exceptional flexibility, providing outstanding comfort and durability, making them perfect for safety clothing and PPE. These fabrics are crafted with advanced laminating technologies that preserve the material's flexibility while offering the physical robustness and temperature resistance needed in the PPE sector.
Advanced Aluminized Film Lamination Process
- Solvent Free & Odor Free
- Excellent Radiant Reflective Heat Resistance
- Good Chemical Resistance
- Abrasion Tested
- Adhesion after Wet Flex Tested
Aluminized Foil-Backed Fabrics
Foil-backed textiles from AMI are best suited for OEM heat shielding where the aluminum foil guards the base insulation fabric from radiant heat while resisting oil and moisture exposure.
AMI's AGL2025 fabric can be tailored to meet MIL-C-20079, a specification used by the U.S. Navy for certain mechanical system insulation on ships.
Note that while the foil can endure temperatures up to 1200°F, the standard adhesive sustains up to about 300°F. Therefore, it is recommended for use as a heat barrier in fabricated parts or static applications where delamination is not a concern. Additionally, a 450°F adhesive is available upon special request.
With competitive pricing and timely delivery, Qicai hopes to become your preferred supplier and partner.
Z-Flex Multilayer Aluminized Fabrics
*** NEWTEX HAS ACQUIRED THE DUAL MIRROR® PORTFOLIO FROM GENTEX ***
Advanced Aluminized Fabrics for Fire Fighting, Industrial Safety, and Heat Shielding
Engineered to reflect radiant heat in extreme conditions, aluminized fabrics are extensively used in industrial safety apparel, proximity suits, and heat shields in high-temperature environments such as metal casting, glass forming, and industrial firefighting. These flame-resistant fabrics shield against high temperatures, flames, sparks, and molten metal splashes.
Newtex has integrated the renowned Dual Mirror line of aluminized fabrics into its Z-Flex Aluminized portfolio, offering one of the most comprehensive radiant protection options globally. The Dual Mirror® range expands our capabilities and features Korspun Aramids, Preox, and Preox/Korspun blends, especially for safety apparel.
Z-Flex® Aluminized Fabrics come in various styles including aluminized fiberglass, aluminized aramid (commonly known as Kevlar®), and aluminized rayon. Our proprietary aluminized film and process result in fabrics that boast exceptional reflectivity, durability, and flex-bond. We use a fire-retardant adhesive that withstands high temperatures longer than competitive offerings, ensuring longer-lasting, protective proximity suits, and minimizing delamination issues.
These top-tier brands reflect up to 95% of radiant energy and offer protection against high temperatures and radiant heat up to 3000°F / 1650°C. However, the aluminized surface should not be exposed to direct contact with temperatures above 350°F / 175°C. The Z-Flex® and Dual Mirror® Aluminized Fabrics have been independently tested against rigorous US and EN standards, consistently delivering superior heat-shielding performance compared to competitors.
