Semi-flexable Abrasive pads in grades from 50 to grit. They are some type of high temperature polymer with diamond grit embedded in it. The pads have a block pattern molded in them to give them some firm flexibility. I am using them to polish cuts in granite slabs. The coarser grits cut quickly. There is a little bit of odor from the polymer warming up. I am using them dry. I think they work better, with water on the surface. I don't see a recommendation, wet or dry, so if you know, leave a comment. My #1 problem is, no matter how carefully you center a pad on the hook and loop backing, it moves off center. That causes a serious vibration, and you have to stop and recenter the pad. Very annoying. I am looking for a better backing pad.
