Ammonium Sulphate Market Size, Growth & Forecast,

Description

H1 : Major producers of Ammonium Sulphate in H1 were OCI Fertilizer Group, Royal DSM, AdvanSIx, and Nutrien. In March , Enva, an innovative recycling company, began building a first-of-its-kind fertilizer manufacturing plant at their location in Greenogue, Dublin. Ammonium Sulphate (AMS) produced from industrial liquid waste will be used to make agricultural fertilizer pellets at the site. This EUR 5 million investment is intended to change the way fertilizer is produced across the world. It also demonstrates Enva's commitment to developing long-term solutions that benefit the environment and society. Regionally, Asia Pacific was the region that consumed the highest amount of ammonium sulphate in H1 . However, Ammonium Sulphate prices fell throughout H1 . Prices in China fell continuously from January to June . The major cause was the low prices of feedstock and low procurement orders from Chinese and international markets. Furthermore, China faced low exports at the end of May, resulting in surplus material availability in the market. Depreciating end-user industries&#; demand, along with abundant material supply, led to a narrow demand-supply gap in the Chinese market. Similarly, in the US market, the fundamentals of the Ammonium Sulphate market remained sluggish in H1 , owing to low demand and a gloomy demand outlook. The region had a sufficient supply of Ammonium Sulphate to meet the needs of the end-user agriculture sector. Less buying activity was noticed in H1 , resulting in a surplus of ammonium sulphate in the US market.

H1 : In , the global demand of Ammonium Sulphate reached approximately 21.5 million tonnes with a growth of 5% in comparison to . Giant producers of Ammonium Sulphate in H1 were Royal DSM, AdvanSIx, OCI Fertilizer Group, and Nutrien. Among these, Royal DSM was leading in terms of production and held a market share of approximately 7% in H1 . Regionally, Asia Pacific was the leading consumer of ammonium sulphate. Furthermore, as a result of high raw material ammonia prices and low sulphur supply rate, the price of ammonium sulphate was on the rise. Due to increased international demand and rise in freight costs, fertilizer prices in China witnessed a growth. There was a rise in fertilizer prices as a result of constrained supply chains and higher input costs also supported the trend of the rise in prices of ammonium sulphate. Similar trend was observed across Europe. Since the beginning of the year, ammonium sulphate demand had increased across Europe as a result of improving market state for primary raw materials. The dynamics of ammonium sulphate was aided by the rising demand from downstream sectors such as agriculture. Political tension between Eastern European nations and their dependance on Russia for raw material exports led to supply chain disturbance, thus leading to price increase.

H2 : During H2 , the Ammonium Sulphate production rates grew further momentum and reached approximately 11.5 million tonnes. Asia Pacific displayed a different market behavior in comparison to H1 . Prices for ammonium sulphate decreased in the APAC area. The Indian ammonium sulphate market had suffered as a result of the decline in raw material cost support and the muted demand from the downstream fertilizer sector. The cost of ammonium sulphate in the Chinese market faced a downward spiral as a result of declining feedstock prices. The downstream demand was on lower side as a result of Indonesia's market's unstable economy. The European market witnessed an interesting pattern. In the first half of H2 , the prices of ammonium sulphate were high. Inflation in Germany increased significantly in July . The market's situation remained uneven, and the supply was still moderate to low. Access to commodities from Asia and the US was impeded due to labor unrest and congestion at numerous German ports. Additionally, falling inventory levels led to insufficient supply levels. However, around October , Ammonium Sulphate market was bearish in Europe. Certain ammonium sulphate manufacturers had lowered the price of their product to a point where customers were eager to re-purchase, thus, ammonium sulphate prices fell throughout Europe. On the demand side, the regional demand was still being weighed down by concerns of recession. However, the demand for ammonium sulphate from the downstream industries had fallen across Europe.
