The package of our roof gutter screen contains one roll of aluminum gutter leaf-guard mesh and a pair of thicker gloves. No instructions in the box.

Method One:

- In this method, no screws or fasteners are needed. The other tools may need: a ladder, measuring tape, a screwdriver, and wire cutters.

- As the sides of the mesh are sharp, make sure you use gloves. Then start on one end and measure down your gutter.

- As you start to install the gutter guard, squeeze with both hands to make it into a half moon, bend the gutter cover gently along the long edge. and then fit the gutter screen down into the gutter with both hands as you move down the gutter.

- Keep the mesh in the "humped shape", pushing it down and positioning it evenly. You can use a small screwdriver to poke in a hole and lift up and adjust the gutter guard roll mesh to further shape the hump if needed to a more even shape.

- The gutter covers screen should be rounded and secure just above the level of the gutter. The tension will hold it in place, making the aluminum gutter mesh more of a slightly curved surface.

- As the sides of the micro-mesh aluminum gutter guard are sharp, make sure you use gloves. Then install aluminum screen gutter guards flat on top of the rain gutters.

- Tuck one end of the aluminum gutter protector under your shingles and use self tapping sheet metal lathe screws to secure them to your gutter.

- You can cut the stop clogged gutter guards into sections and do a section at a time, or continue down the gutter without cutting as you move your ladder.
