How to guide clients to choose their excavator quick coupler?

https://www.glikrmachinery.com/quick-coupler/

Quick couplers are no different. These aftermarket excavator add-ons increase efficiency by eliminating the need to manually remove mounting pins, greatly reducing the time it takes for excavator operators to switch between attachments. Like all other tools, quick couplers are constantly evolving. When making a purchase decision, consider the application, hydraulic or mechanical configurations, safety features and additional performance features and benefits like tilting capabilities and fully hydraulic operations.

1.Introduction of quick hitch coupler:

Excavator quick coupler joint is one of the accessories of construction machinery, which is independently designed, developed and manufactured according to the specific work requirements of excavator.

Quick joint plays an important role in connecting excavator bucket, ripper, hydraulic rock breaker, hydraulic shear machine and so on. We can see the quick hook diagram in coal mining, demolition construction, road surface repair and so on. Quick replacement of excavators, suitable for all kinds of different tonnage of excavators, can also be customized according to the excavator model.

Usually we call it quick joint of excavator (also known as quick joint, quick joint, quick hook, quick hook), which can expand the scope of use of excavator, save time and improve work efficiency.

2.Types of quick fit:

There are two kinds of quick mechanical and hydraulic joints for excavators. Mechanical quick-hanging can be used without reforming the pipeline and hydraulic system of excavator (low cost type); The hydraulic quick joint needs to be reformed with the excavator pipeline and hydraulic system to meet the requirements of automatic replacement.

Hydraulic quick hitch: two groups of oil lines are connected with the quick joint through the oil pump control valve of the excavator itself. The working parts of excavator can be quickly replaced by hydraulic driving cylinder.

Advantages: strong power, high stability, simple operation, only need to control the oil circuit switch.

Disadvantages: increased routing system and hydraulic cylinder, relatively high cost; There is a risk of personnel misoperating the oil switch.

Mechanical quick hitch: by rotating the mechanical screw to adjust the distance of the moving block, so as to realize the disassembly and installation of the working parts of the excavator.

Advantages: simple structure, low cost.

Disadvantages: due to long time, high strength reciprocating movement, easy to cause mechanical screw loosening, thread damage; The working environment is bad, it is more laborious to disassemble and install the rotating thread; With the passage of time, mechanical is doomed to obsolescence.

3.Structure of quick fit:

1. High strength steel; Suitable for 3-45 tons of excavator and backhoe.

2. Adopt hydraulic control check valve safety device to ensure safety.

3. The excavator configuration can be replaced without modification or removal of pins, so that it can be quickly installed and the working efficiency is greatly improved.

4. There is no need to manually smash the bucket pin between the hydraulic hammer and the bucket. Just open the switch and the hydraulic crusher and the bucket can be exchanged within 10s, saving time and effort, simple and convenient.

The quick hook belongs to the structural product, which is composed of the main bracket, movable clamping block, hydraulic cylinder, pin and other parts.

Its production process includes cutting, turning, milling, drilling, forming, welding, grinding, sandblasting, spraying, assembly and other processes. Remember, in real life, the best excavator fast match will never come out, you can only find the most suitable for you according to the demand and price.

The tools used in the construction trade are wide ranging and constantly improving. Sledgehammers evolved to handheld breakers, and shovels gave rise to excavator buckets. Manufacturers are always looking for new ways to improve productivity and safety in the tools contractors use every day.

Convenience With a Coupler

The ability to tilt an attachment is an added feature to consider when selecting a coupler.

Like many other aftermarket products, a quick coupler is an investment that adds convenience and flexibility to a fleet in just about any application. Without a coupler, switching between a bucket, ripper, rake, mechanical grabs, etc., can cost valuable time. Although couplers might make the machine heavier and slightly reduce the breakout force, they increase the speed and agility of attachment changeout. Considering traditional changes can take up to 20 minutes, a quick coupler can save operators time and energy on today's complicated job sites where they might be required to change between attachments several times to complete a task. If an operator is utilizing different attachments upwards of 10 times per day, the downtime making the change can add up significantly. In some industries, including canaling, operators can switch between a bucket and a compactor plate upwards of 100 times per day.

If operators are switching out attachments every couple of days rather than every couple of hours, there may not be a need for a coupler. But if a contractor is using a variety of attachments throughout the day or wants to increase productivity with one machine on a site, a coupler is a must-have. An operator may not switch attachments frequently because he doesn't want to leave the cab. But utilizing the wrong attachment for the wrong work will increase wear.
