Sound design is both artistic and technical. Like in LX, you can never put the lights/speakers/microphones where they need to be for the desired results...But for the artistic side think "radio play ". The soundscape helps establish time & place, whether sounds, music, or combinations. Like the craft departments, sound helps tell the story the director has envisioned. The music provides transitions, too... but stop for a second and listen to what's going on around you, right now, that give you aural clues as to where you are. Think about other places and spaces... the sounds made by equipment and machinery or vehicles; nature sounds; people sounds. All of them together create a soundscape that accompanies you everywhere. A designer may find it useful to use some of those sounds to create subtle (or not so subtle) sonic signatures of various places or situations depicted in a script. Kind of like a 'motif' in music or visual art.The tech side involves putting mics on actors for musicals and maybe hiding mics on actors or in set pieces or props for straight plays as well as soundscaping and SFX. Editing FX until the director likes them...When I was designing for something like Seussical, my question about the artistic side was first "how does this help tell the story? Does it add something to a character or frame the action?" Can you hear the kids? Can you understand the actors? Is the orchestra too damn loud? (trick question, of course they are!)

Bubble Machine Rental - Bubbleworks

Is Bubbleworks messy?
No. Bubbbleworks Special Formula was custom made for stages and theatres.  It was designed to create bubbles that float long distances without making the  mess that you would see with store-bought bubble solutions or bubble juice.

Will Bubbleworks make the ground slippery?
No, as long as you place the equipment in places that won’t create any build-up and operate the machines at levels that don’t overwhelm the space. Being sensible and hands-on with your bubble installation allows for a great effect without creating a safety concern.

How long do Bubbleworks bubbles last?
One gallon of Bubbleworks Special Formula will create about an hour of bubbles.

TOPCAT supply professional and honest service.

Are Bubbleworks bubbles safe for children, plants, and animals?
Our formula is Earth friendly, hypoallergenic, and comprised of 98% water. It is safe and sustainable for interactions with plants, pets, and people.

How is a Bubbleworks Professional Bubble Machine Rental different from other bubble machine rentals?
Our equipment and formulas are professional grade and produce the most bubbles.  Other bubble rentals use cheap machines that produce a very weak bubble effect.

Do you offer separate set-up service and professional operation of your bubble machines?
Absolutely! If your project is more involved than just a basic bubble machine rental, let us handle all the details. Large-scale, fully produced installations are our specialty. Bubbleworks has the experience and professional crew to handle a flawless bubble transformation in any space. Contact us for a quote.
